The Cape May County Park & Zoo, a free yet vast spread of more than 550 animals, is tucked away in Cape May Court House (CMCH). Also in CMCH is Cape Regional Medical Center (formerly Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital), the only hospital in Cape May County. There are restaurants, stores, specialty shops, tourist hotspots, and wineries within Middle Township. Much of the area is busy year-round since many people have put roots down here and aren't typically day-trippers or beach hoppers.
